Because maybe, just maybe, I can find something that can finally properly knock all the epic fail and shit and self-pity and patheticness out of my mind.

Logic really fails when dealing with my brain. I've found it often appreciates the application of heavy, blunt instruments. Or threats. Those work too.

On a different note...yay for skiing. I'll be gone from the internet for the next four days, probably breaking my legs and getting frostbite on the shattered toes. And then spilling scalding hot coffee over them. Yes, the wonders of holidays upstate. xD

BUT ARGH THOUGH I AM GOING TO MISS MY FRIENDS OVER THE BREAK SO FUCKING MUCH D:

1) Went to a Bar Mitzvah for someone I barely know, but still, it was really fun 'cos there were friends there. And they were playing Rock Band. Except I knew none of the songs besides Snow (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and even that not very well. BUT. I decided to try my hand at karaoke.

The results were...interesting.

Basically? I FAILED.

It was an epic and hilarious failure.

2) DAD LIKES MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE

...yeah. That's about it.

*dancing happily* WE HAD SNOW TODAY. LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF SNOW. AS OF NOW, LIKE FOUR AND A HALF INCHES. AND FOR ANYONE UP IN THE FROZEN WASTES OF WE-GET-LOTS-OF-SNOW-ALL-WINTER-HA-HA-SILLY-CHILDREN-LAND WHO'S SCOFFING AT MY HAPPINESS, SCREW YOU, BECAUSE NEW YORK. NEVER. GETS. SNOW. EVER. EXCEPT NOW THERE IS SNOW SNOW SNOWWWWW YAAAAAAAAY *bounces deliriously*

At outdoor lunch today, half the school ran out and had this enormous snowball fight for at least half an hour until some teachers came out and yelled at us and herded us back inside where the principal came down and yelled at us too. Apparently, it's illegal to chuck snow at each other when it's the first actual proper snow you've seen in years. (And besides that, people were running across the street and being generally stupid. But I wasn't.) Seriously, what do they expect us to do? Walk through the snow being all stoic and refusing to touch any of it? HAH. FOOLISHNESS. Sadly, the principal doesn't seem to share this mindset, and is preparing to kill the outdoor lunch priveleges of basically half the entire school. Oh well.

Yesh. So that is my happy thing for today. :DDDD

Second one: There's this French elective I have, except it's with my last-year Social Studies teacher who is basically a very nice person but an extremely shitty teacher. She also happens to be obsessed with integrating cooking into literally everything. So. What else do we do for French but make a pile of cream puffs covered in caramel?

Yeah. Ridiculously awesome, except everyone completely failed at making cream puffs. xD They were yummy though. And Bella smeared chocolate cream all over my face. She got a kick for that.

the internet went dead yesterday. as in, no one could access it from our apartment. period. argh.

But yay, it's back on! Which is the first happy thing for today.

Second happy thing: best. AMV. ever. and best song, too.

Third: I got an awesome holiday card from Emily. there are still sparkles on my fingers. xD

Okay, now a pretty bad thing. I have so much fucking homework it is not even funny. So. I must go and write a fucking essay due tomorrow. rargh. *fails*

1) Well, it snowed :D and OH MY GOD, IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S SETTLING. but only on parked cars. *sad*

2) I am listening to "What Do We Know" and it is the most amazingly addictive song ever ever ever. and it is MY NEW OFFICIAL ANTHEM. UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY. :DDDD

Yay. On my emo scale, that was probably an eight out of ten. Ten makes me start screaming and crying and throwing staplers and calculators at the wall. Nine makes me write emo poetry and was sort of my default for a while last year. Eight is just mildly-depressed staring into space.

My normal emo level is about from two to four. It's just slouching in chairs and being vaguely bitchy at people.

Meh.

In any case, yey fer Halloween. Or maybe not yey 'cos I didn't get to wear my costume to school. ;_; I think fake blood takes a while to dry, so it'd be too much of a hassle to put it on in the morning.

I didn't go trick-or-treating either 'cos I only ever get crap candy that my parents hide anyway.
